Still no answer
My call came as a result as the head nurse told me today that she discussed with Dr. Iordache, and Dr. Iordache suggested that I should call them, as Dr. Grigoriu does not like if any other person interferes. So I made the call.

Dr. Grigoriu's letter to the Transilvania Expres
At the end is mentioned that such articles are destroying the hospital's image, and also the relationship with many institutions from the country and from abroad with whom we have a good collaboration for the benefit of all the patients.
At the end the manager of the newspaper said again that the article appeared without permission, and he is sorry for the damage caused.

The response of the head nurse
1. The Transilvania Expres newspaper supported the blaming of the Vulcan hospital's staff mentioning that the staff is forcing patients to work, they are not fed properly and patients are treated badly. Also the former article said that the staff, together with head nurse Stoica would use the patients money in their own interests, and the pensions of some patients are partly kept at the hospital. These allegations which are very hard to prove, would make a bad image of the medical staff who is working here, showing them as thieves. She said that her correct manners were never put into question in the past 33 years since she is a head nurse in this hospital. These were very serious accusations, none of them are truth, and the worse is that so far she did not had a chance to defend herself publicly. The authors of former article mentioned that the head nurse was never available on the phone, but they were informed that the head nurse was on her holiday between 1 - 31 July 2008. The authors are desperately seeking for a hot subject, even spreading lies and hurting someone's image.
2. Because of this and because her moral and proffessional status was questioned, Mrs. Stoica publicly informes the readers that the 2 author of the article appeared on 5 August, will be sued by her at the court of law, and so publicly will be known who was saying the truth and who not.
As I said this was published on the front page of the today newspaper. After this appears a note from the management of the newspaper:
The Transilvania Expres newspaper never supported the blaming of the Vulcan hospital. It is regretable that the article has appeared at the first place, and it appeared without the aproval of the management of our newspaper. We are very sorry for this and we inform you that the authors of the article were fined.

Wednesday - Mina + newspaper
I would like to mention that yesterday, 5 August 2008 an article appeared in the Transilvania Expres, local newspaper about the hospital. According to the article anybody can go in and out in the hospital, as there is no real check, as reporters went into the hospital and nobody stoped them and nobody asked them who they are. Also the conditions are bad, patients in civil clothes standing inside in the dark, having poor conditions., forced to work...They also took an interview of Dr. Grigoriu who says that there is a fence around the hospital, the hopsital conditions have improved a lot, new heating sytems, new lights, new dining room and a new dental surgery which is unique! The patients are not forced to work, but there is occupational therapy, which is pacticed all over the world in all the hospitals like this.
It is obvious that the writer of the article has been paid to do a negative publicity. It concludes the article saying that, Mrs. Stoica is never answering the phone and also that patients are going out to the nearby shop which is outside of the hospital and ironically... perhaps that is a type of occupational therapy too, says the author.
Below is the article in Romanian:

Later on, took the car to the garage. Besides the usual oil and filter changes, they had to replace a part from the rear left side which was making noise and also the clutch, which was no longer working. The clutch itself is 90 Pounds.
