Visit at Mina today

Photos taken at 16 August 2010

- I have told the head nurse that in November you are planning to send over a load of clothes for patients, just as you promised
- told the head nurse that it would be a good idea for them to make Christmas decorations 4-6 inches to be able to hang them on Christmas trees, it can be knitted, sewed, or any material use their imagination, crosses, starts, Santa, and I shall collect it put in a box and send it to UK and NNRT is willing to sell those and the money will return to the hospital. I have told this both to the head nurse and to the OT lady. They seemed to like the idea. I gave them deadline till 1 November to make those things.
- visited the OT room and told the same to OT lady
- visited the laundry and the washing machine now works, but apparently it's reparation it cost about 600-700 pounds for the pieces made in Italy and for the labor.
- visited the flat and it was OK
- they did not started the work on the roof yet.
- brought with me the kitchen clothes Vanessa left with me, which are washed and brought them back to the flat
- gave sweets to Costica who was very cheerful
- find out the at the director was very pleased with both shelters you made this year both of them are very useful for them, as they are now, the back one for drying clothes and the front one for patients for socializing.
- the lady from the sewing room was asking if we can provide for anti mosquito nets for the rest of the windows.
-Checked the school too, all was fine.
The weather is very hot these days in Romania we had bout 40 C in Bucharest and 33C in Brasov area.

There are new curtains at the sewing ladies windows we fitted.
At the junction of the roads towards Mina there is a contruction site. Perhaps some new houses?
