Informing Dr. Grigoriu

This morning I have fully informed Dr. Grigoriu the Hospital manager about the support from the Mormon Church and the conditions of obtaining it.
He also was very thankful for it.

The response from Elder Edwards

We have received the reponse from Elder Edwards regarding the new building project. Here it is:
I wish to confirm three matters.

First, we understand that North Nibley will remain involved with the construction project in some sort of oversight role. Our project is to support North Nibley in its efforts to help Vulcan Hospital. Your involvement is essential to us.

Second, we understand that the Church money will be used only if you are confident that there is sufficient other funding so that the construction project incorporating the windows and doors will be brought to completion.

Third, we understand that the Church will make payment directly to the supplier and not to a construction company.

Thank you. We admire the commitment of North Nibley Foundation to the Vulcan Hospital. We admire you and the others involved in this effort. Best wishes.

Thank you Elder Edwards!

The project of the new building

The project of the new building it may be done if the dutch charity and the Mormon church will contribute towards this specific project. Most of the work will be done by a local construction company, the same one which has been working at the other Psychiatric Hospital from Brasov, with very low costs of labor. In addition the North Nibley Romania team will contribute with funds and manual labor. The plan of the future construction below:

Meeting the Director

After meeting the head nurse, we had a meeting in Brasov with the manager director, Dr. Grigoriu. Discussed the future building, the donation towards it, the contribution of the LDS church, the actual building work. Also discussed what kind of work can be done by charity members in the summer. It was a good meeting lasted over one hour.
They also visited our place, also been at the Baumax checked prices of materials, after we did the same yesterday at Arabesque.
The weather did not helped us, it was snowing! But still I am sure all of us enjoyed the time together.

Updated list

Have the updated list of patients. The new list been sent to UK for personal Easter cards. I think this is a great idea. Patients loved at Christmas, that is sure.

5 March in Mina 1 Mai

Very windy day. Not too cold, later on raining, snow is melting slowly. In the flat I did some cleaning today with the downstairs ladies together, put some heating, got out the sleeping bags, filled the fridge, after a shopping at Metro, checked the existing food...
Met the head nurse, we shall have a meeting on Monday with her.
I have now an updated list of patients at the hospital, this is useful for the Easter Cards.
Repaired the windscreen washer for the car and got new windscreen wipers.
